Meet the Artist
Vashaun is a self-taught designer, illustrator, and artist based in Richmond, Virginia with a passion for visual storytelling. His work transforms expressive hand gestures into bold and playful compositions, using vibrant color and simplified forms to explore how people communicate through movement and touch. With a background in graphic design, he brings a rhythmic and graphic sensibility to each canvas, repeating and abstracting hand-like shapes into a personal visual language. The gestures become characters that convey warmth, motion, and connection, capturing the joy and creativity found in everyday moments.
